SwiftCareMD isn't licensed to provide doctors notes in North Carolina yet — but North Carolina is on our priority list. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the day we go live in North Carolina so you can get a same-day, board-certified doctors note for one flat $34.99 fee. From the Research Triangle to Charlotte and the coast, we want to be ready for you the day we launch.
Telehealth in the United States is regulated state by state. A physician must hold an active medical license in the patient's state at the time of the visit. SwiftCareMD is intentionally expanding one state at a time so every note we sign is fully compliant and verifiable. We are actively working on North Carolina licensure.
Whether you live in Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro, or one of North Carolina's smaller towns, you'll be the first to know once we launch. North Carolina's capital is Raleigh, but you'll never need to travel — the entire visit happens online once we go live.
Not yet. SwiftCareMD has not yet launched in North Carolina — our physicians are not currently licensed to issue notes for North Carolina residents. Join the North Carolina waitlist on this page and we will email you the moment we go live so you are first in line.
We are actively expanding our physician network and North Carolina is on our roadmap. We do not publish exact launch dates because state licensure timelines vary, but everyone on the North Carolina waitlist is notified before public launch.
Each U.S. state requires a physician to hold an active state-issued medical license to practice telehealth there. Our network is currently licensed in 41 states plus Washington, D.C., and we add new states as our physicians complete the licensure process. North Carolina is on the list.
Join the North Carolina waitlist so you hear from us first. In the meantime, an in-person visit with a North Carolina-licensed clinician (primary care, urgent care, or telehealth services already operating in North Carolina) is the standard option for a same-day doctors note.
If you're in North Carolina but currently outside the state — for example, traveling or temporarily living in one of the 41 states (plus D.C.) where we're already licensed — you can still get a doctors note today from the state you're physically in. See where SwiftCareMD is available.
